Press the top of the iron down over the batter until browned (flipping the iron in process.) Don't skip this step. Remove Krumkake and immediately roll into a tight cone shape. Use the towel to help start the rolling process if the cookies are too hot for your fingers. I recommend using one with your first batch or two on a new piece of equipment.
